The ILO has an Internship Programme, open to external candidates who can apply through the ILO Jobs portal. This programme provides diverse opportunities for graduate and postgraduate students, as well as recent graduates, to gain hands-on learning experiences in areas related to the ILO’s mandate and activities. As part of its commitment to diversity and inclusion, the ILO has introduced two key initiatives within its general internship programme:
- Selected rosters include internship positions reserved exclusively for persons with disabilities.
- Applicants from non- and underrepresented countries may be eligible to have their travel expenses (including a roundtrip economy class plane ticket) covered by the ILO.
