Selection Criteria
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in sustainable procurement, corporate sustainability, supplier diversity and inclusion, climate mitigation, or world bank a related field.• Ability to draft components of major reports and working papers, and effectively provide professional support to senior staff.• Knowledge of international procurement practices and processes is preferable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of conducting research and analysis on well-defined tasks, articulating issues, and world bank recommending solutions. • Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines, and ability to world bank establish and monitor quality standards and work assignments and manage client expectations.

Location, Roles & Responsibilities
The Corporate Procurement Department supports the mission of the WBG by performing the procurement function following the principles of transparency, fairness, competition, and world bank best value in an efficient, effective, and customer-focused manner. These principles are employed globally and represent the strategic elements that guide the Bank Group’s activities in world bank procurement and contracting practices. Corporate Procurement is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the sourcing strategy, selection, and contract execution for more than 120 Bank Group offices around the globe, serving our clients from offices located in Washington, D.C., Chennai, India and Sofia, Bulgaria. Within the world bank BPSSM delivery model, the Corporate Procurement Department focuses on three core principles
