Key tasks and responsibilities:
Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of Digital Communication Officer or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the Intern Multimedia Designer will:
• Conceptualize and create high quality designs to help advance UNICEF Sri Lanka’s brand strategy, graphics, and collateral across digital channels.
• Create visually engaging assets for social media channels.
• Conceptualize and develop videos, graphics and infographics to communicate the situation of children in Sri Lanka.
Key Deliverables:
Intern will be engaged on a variety of assets that may include reports, frameworks, strategies, infographics, banners, visibility materials, mobile optimized digital assets among others. For each assignment, the graphic designer in consultation with the supervisor, will advise on the actual number of social media posts to accomplish within the task.
- As an active member of the communication section, efficient, timely, responsive, and high-quality support rendered to UNICEF Sri Lanka is expected in the accomplishment of her/his functions, including:
- Social media assets published on UNICEF Sri Lanka channels systematically benefit from compelling, high-quality graphic design.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge in concept and creation of specific graphic design assets, including infographics/factographs (for print and digital), data visualization, animation/video graphics, web design development and management, and interactive presentations.
- Ability to conceptualize unique ideas for video and motion graphics projects and advertising campaigns.

Language:
Excellent written and spoken English.
Written and spoken Sinhala and Tamil will be an added advantage
