The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is seeking a skilled Language Support Specialist to enhance our eLearning projects in multiple languages, including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish. As a Language Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our eLearning materials are linguistically accurate and culturally relevant, facilitating the dissemination of knowledge to a diverse audience. Your expertise will help us create inclusive and accessible learning experiences that empower individuals and communities around the globe.

Minimum Requirements
• University or Technical degree in Professional Writing, Translation, Philology, Journalism, Communication, Pedagogy, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 or more years of progressive experience translating and proofreading material/content from English into one the relevant FAO languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish).
• Working knowledge (Level C) of English and one additional FAO official language: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish.

• Knowledge and experience in writing, proofreading and translating material from English.
