Selection Criteria
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics) with a focus on data science, machine learning, or AI. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Julia, and experience with SQL. Expertise in deploying machine learning models, including experience with large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI tools at an enterprise scale is strongly preferred.

- Quantitative and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to build complex quantitative models and perform advanced data analysis. A solid methodological grounding in indicator development, measurement, and evaluation, particularly in the context of MDBs is desirable.
- Strategic Insight: Ability to ensure that data science solutions are aligned with the Bank’s operational priorities, and to translate analytical findings into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative and Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of working effectively across institutional boundaries. Experience in building partnerships and fostering collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Innovation and Flexibility: Creative problem-solving abilities, with a focus on developing novel solutions to operational challenges. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience & Domain Knowledge: Prior experience working with operations data, results measurement, risk analytics, or development effectiveness data is preferred.
