Exciting Opportunity At IOM For Programme Associate-2025 Apply Now!

Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCoM) and the direct supervision of the Labour Mobility & Integration (LMI) Programme Manager, the Programme Associate will collaborate with Project Officers to facilitate the successful implementation of LMI activities. 

Responsibilities

  1. Support the Programme Manager and LMI Team with all the administrative and financial tasks as required, including maintaining proper documentation/files of the project, preparing purchase requisition, payment request, invitation letters and other relevant documents 
  2. Conduct monitoring of service delivery by Service Providers and/or Implementing Partners including providing detailed feedback on their reports and offering guidance on project implementation to address unforeseen challenges     

Qualifications

Education / Experience:

  • High school diploma with at least five (5) years of relevant experience, or,
  • University degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields, from an accredited academic institution with three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Previous working experience in other international organizations (IOM, UN etc.) is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to establish priorities and plans, ability to work under pressure and cope with deadlines.  

Languages:

For this position, fluency in English and Arabic are required (oral and written).

Working knowledge of another official UN language (Chinese, Russian, and Spanish) is an advantage.
