UNICEF is inviting applications for the Health Manager position (MNCAH/HIV and Health System Strengthening) at the P4 level for 2025. This pivotal role focuses on improving maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health, as well as enhancing HIV prevention and treatment initiatives. As a Health Manager, you will lead strategic planning and implementation of health programs, working closely with government partners and stakeholders to ensure effective health service delivery and system strengthening.

Minimum requirements:

  • Education: An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health, pediatric health, family health, health research, global/international health, biostatistics, health education, epidemiology, or another relevant technical field.
  • Work Experience: At least eight (8) years of professional experience in one or more areas is required: public health, maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent health care, HIV, or health emergency/humanitarian preparedness. 
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in French and English.

Desirables:

  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency. 
  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language.
