Job Opening: IMF Data Management Analyst/Sr. Data Management Analyst (Contractual) – ICDIP 2025
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Management Analyst or Senior Data Management Analyst to join our team in the Institute for Capacity Development (ICDIP) on a contractual basis. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the IMF’s mission by enhancing our data management practices and supporting informed decision-making across the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of critical data sets, while collaborating with various stakeholders to improve data workflows and reporting processes. Your expertise will be essential in driving efficiencies and implementing best practices in data management.
Minimum qualifications:
Educational development, typically acquired through the completion of a university degree in programming/systems, computer science, statistics, finance, mathematics, economics, or a related field of study, is required. Alternatively, a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related position at Grade A5, or equivalent, is required.
The candidate should have:
- Strong project management skills and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative and attention to detail; ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects effectively; ability to work under pressure both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with subject matter experts, and to manage cross-functional teams to deliver individual projects.
In-depth knowledge of processes involved in online course development and delivery and of the edX platform would be a strong advantage, in addition to experience working with various Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
Experience using Cvent or other survey tools, proficiency in French or Arabic, as well as in Articulate 360 are highly desirable, as is familiarity with multimedia authoring tools and software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and other audio/video editing software.
Only candidates who are currently residing in the Washington DC metro area will be considered.
This is a one-year contractual position. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative service, based on the incumbent’s performance, budget availability, and continuing business need.
