The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is pleased to announce a job opening for the position of National Digital Agriculture Specialist (Innovation Hubs) for 2025. This pivotal role focuses on fostering innovation in agriculture through the establishment and support of digital agriculture hubs.

The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and practices that enhance agricultural productivity and resilience.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming the agricultural landscape and contributing to the FAO’s mission of achieving sustainable food systems and improving livelihoods in rural communities.
Minimum Requirements
• University degree in Agricultural Science, Social Science, Computer Science, Rural Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in digital agriculture, innovation systems, integration of technology, and related fields.
• Working knowledge of English and Russian.
• Must be a national of Belarus or a resident with a valid work permit.

Technical/Functional Skills
• Experience with innovation hubs or similar structures, and their role in fostering technology adoption and supporting rural stakeholders.

• Familiarity and experience working with digital solutions for agriculture, with farm advisory services, and/or training for farmers.
