UNDP Communication Analyst: Amplifying Voices, Driving Impact, and Fostering Global Progress
“Further Improvement of Public Service Delivery in Uzbekistan” is a joint project conducted by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) funded by the European Union.
The project is expected to produce the following main outputs:
- Transform institutional, legal, and regulatory frameworks underpinning the back office of the national public services delivery system.
- Enhance capacity of the back office institutions in public service delivery to ensure their effective operation at the national, regional and local levels.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Project Specialist, Communication Analyst will be responsible for the satisfactory achievement of the entrusted functions and tasks within the project’s interventions, as described below:
- Provide support to the planning and design of internal and external communication strategies and outreach:
- Prepare and conduct communications needs assessments for the project;
- Provide input to the project’s communications and outreach strategy based on the project document priorities.
Ensure the implementation of the project publications strategy and plan:
- Manage project’s publication activities, such as drafting articles and content management in line with corporate guidelines;
- Maintain regular contact with printers and other suppliers to ensure production and publications dissemination.
Institutional Arrangement
Communication Analyst works under direct supervision of the Project Specialist and collaborates with the project staff, national partners, other UNDP projects, UNDP CO programme and operations units to exchange information and satisfactory achievement of the assigned tasks.
