About the Fellowship
Hosted by Yale and its international partners, the Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship empowers professionals from Africa, Asia, Latin America/Caribbean, and the Middle East who are driving climate solutions in their regions. Fellows will engage in two fully funded in-person weeks and five virtual modules, concluding with a group project that contributes to real-world climate progress.

Who Should Apply?
Eligible applicants must:
- Be 5–10 years into their professional careers
- Be citizens of the Global South (Africa, Asia, Latin America/Caribbean, or Middle East)
- Work in sectors linked to clean energy or climate change (e.g. government, law, media, finance, research, education, civil society)
- Demonstrate regional or international achievements and leadership potential
- Be fluent in English
- Be available for all program dates:
- Yale Orientation: Feb 16–20, 2026
- Remote sessions + group project: March–June 2026
- Paris Closing Week: June 15–19, 2026
