Duties
- Utilize knowledge and experiences related to project management principles to independently plan and coordinate work, develop cost estimates, track costs, monitor progress, and provide status briefings to management at various agency echelons.
- Leads and directs IDTs carrying out environmental studies and evaluations. Provides direction and support to IDT members to meet project timelines by assisting in document preparation or finalization or other duties as assigned.
- The incumbent is responsible for maintaining consistent, timely communications with all internal and external customers in order to fully gather and understand information regarding requirements and needs.
- Develops, institutes, coordinates, and engages internally and externally, with Federal, state, local, and tribal governments, project sponsor, and the public to manage expectations through information sharing and strategic messaging.

Relocation/Recruitment Incentive:Â his position is offering a Relocation/Recruitment Incentive, 10% of the annual salary. To be eligible for a Relocation Incentive, you must be a current Federal Employee and the selectee must be employed with the Federal Government and the selectees current duty location is more than 50 miles from the duty location of this position. To be eligible for a Recruitment Incentive, selectee must not be employed by the Federal Government.

Physical Demands: The job involves prolonged hours of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in an office environment. Standing and hiking in adverse climate may be required for fieldwork.
Work Environment:Â The work environment varies from an office setting where the incumbent is in contact with work associates to a field setting where the incumbent is working alone or in a group, in remote and adverse situations. Incumbent will adhere to all safety rules and regulations as prescribed in manuals/supplements or by the designated Safety Officer.

Education
This position falls under the Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series, 0301 Individual Occupational Requirements (IOR).
There is no substitution of education for experience at this grade level.
