The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian organization, operating in 123 countries, delivering food assistance, partnering with governments, and providing common services that allow the entire humanitarian community to save lives in emergencies and build the resilience of food insecure people and communities.

WFP has been present in Timor-Leste since 1999.
WFP Timor-Leste’s Country Strategic Plan (CSP) 2023-2025 is focused on strengthening national government’s programmes such as Bolsa de Mãe , Cadeia de Valor and Merenda Escolar, enhancing resilience to shocks and improving the food security and nutrition status of people (especially women and children).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High-school diploma. Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
Experience:
• Five years of relevant work experience in Timor-Leste with a government, civil society, or private sector organization.
• Experience in photography, particularly event coverage and capturing engaging images.
• Experience in the international arena through direct work with an international institution/organization or interactions with international stakeholders.
