
Job Opening: IOM Administrative Associate (Climate Resilience and Humanitarian Response Support) 2025.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Associate to support its Climate Resilience and Humanitarian Response initiatives for 2025. In this vital role, you will assist in the coordination and administration of projects aimed at enhancing the resilience of communities affected by climate change and humanitarian crises.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Experience :
Education :
- Completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Development, or related field with three years of relevant professional experience; or
- High school diploma with at least five years of relevant professional experience
Experience :
Minimum requirements:
- One year of prior experience in similar role is an advantage.
- Practical field experience and understanding in domains related to relief interventions and humanitarian action (including support to displaced populations and implementation of emergency and early recovery activities), UN, and the cluster system is an advantage;
- Experience in liaising with government authorities, inter-governmental institutions, UN agencies and national and international NGOs;
Advantageous :
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the humanitarian and resilience building context in Pakistan, and of the vulnerabilities experienced by diverse population groups;
- Proficiency in Sindhi will be considered an advantage
Skills :
• Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Good writing, communication and negotiation skills;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain trust and good working relationships with counterparts;
• Capacity for creative thinking;
• Team-oriented, but with capacity to work independently and with minimal supervision;
• Personal commitment, efficiency, and flexibility;
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to deliver under tight timelines;
• Understanding of IOM policies, procedures and institutional tools will be considered an advantage .
Languages :
Required :
- Fluency in English and Urdu is required (oral and written).
Desirable :
- Working knowledge of Sindhi or other languages spoken in Northern Sindh is an advantage.
