The Cameron Impact Scholarship provides full tuition, fees, and books for four years of undergraduate study at any accredited U.S.-based college or university of the recipient’s choice. Unlike many scholarships that are tied to specific institutions, this award offers flexibility while maintaining a strong emphasis on leadership, integrity, and service.
The Foundation seeks students who stand out not just for academic excellence, but for their passion for community engagement, civic responsibility, and long-term vision for positive social change.

Importantly, the scholarship is open to all eligible applicants, regardless of race, religion, socioeconomic background, gender, or sexual orientation. The program is strictly merit-based, focusing on leadership, service, and academic achievement.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Cameron Impact Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent
- Be a full citizen of the United States of America
- Be a member of the high school graduating Class of 2026
- Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited four-year U.S. college or university immediately after high school
- Demonstrate excellence in extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and community service
- Show strong motivation, work ethic, and civic engagement
The Foundation allocates approximately 25% of the scholarships to students pursuing careers in education, nonprofits, government, or the military, with a clear commitment to public service.
Application Components
A complete application consists of three mandatory components:
- Online Application
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- One letter must come from current school-affiliated personnel
- High School Transcript
- An unofficial transcript is acceptable
Recommendation letters and transcripts may be uploaded directly within the application portal or emailed to admin@bryancameronef.org. Applicants must submit only two recommendation letters, as additional materials will not be considered.
Incomplete applications are not reviewed under any circumstances.
Selection Process and Deadlines (Class of 2026)
For the Class of 2026, the Cameron Impact Scholarship application opened on February 1, 2025. Due to the program’s popularity, the Foundation accepts and reviews a maximum of 3,000 complete and eligible applications.
- Early Application Deadline: May 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM PT — CLOSED
- Regular Application Deadline: When 3,000 applications are received or September 3, 2025 — CLOSED
Applications are reviewed in two pools: Early Applicants and Regular Applicants. Historically, applicants in the Early Pool have higher odds of being selected for finalist interviews.
From the total applicant pool, 75–100 finalists are selected for face-to-face interviews in Fall 2025, typically conducted at the applicant’s high school. Final scholarship recipients are officially announced in December 2025.
Scholar Expectations and Community
Recipients of the Cameron Impact Scholarship become part of a lifelong community of leaders known as the CAM FAM. Scholars are required to attend an annual Awards Ceremony, hosted in different cities across the United States throughout the duration of the scholarship.
Scholars are also expected to uphold the values of leadership, service, and ethical responsibility, representing the Foundation as ambassadors for positive change.
Important Policies
Applicants may not be related to or have pre-existing relationships with members of the Foundation’s staff, Board of Directors, or Selection Committee. The Foundation maintains a strict non-discrimination policy in accordance with U.S. law.
