ITS Vice Presidency and Business Context
The Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) unit supports World Bank Group staff across more than 150 global locations. Its mission is to transform how the organization delivers development solutions through innovative and resilient technology.

ITS focuses on three strategic outcomes:

- Resilience – strengthening cybersecurity, data protection, and risk-based IT operations across a growing cloud platform.
Within ITS, the successful candidate will join the eServices/ServiceNow team, contributing to the development, customization, and governance of enterprise IT service management solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As an IT Officer, Business Solutions I, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting internal clients and business processes using the ServiceNow platform
- Managing Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management
- Handling Asset Management, CMDB, Service Level Management (SLM), and Service Catalog development
- Designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow applications, both in-house and out-of-the-box
- Writing scripts and configuring workflows, business rules, and UI components
- Providing production support, including bug fixes and enhancement requests
- Designing and executing testing plans
- Leading a small technical team and managing work programs
- Performing system migrations between Development, QA, and Production environments
Required Qualifications and Technical Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Certification as a ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
- Proven experience leading a team of at least three members
Strong technical expertise is required in:
- ServiceNow administration and development
- JavaScript, JQuery, Jelly, and prototype scripting
- Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Flow Designer
- REST, WSDL, JSON integrations with third-party tools such as SPLUNK and AppDynamics
- CMDB, Import Sets, Transform Maps, Update Sets, and workflows
- Service Portal, Agent Workspace, reporting, notifications, and dashboards
- System upgrades, service packs, and performance troubleshooting
